Saints retuned to their winning ways with a convincing win over Langwarrin even though the score line doesn't reflect the true dominance by the Saints. Loncaric playing in the midfield of late had a opportunity to put Saints ahead in the 5th minute but his attempt was quickly closed down by the Langwarrin Keeper and a chance went begging. Filipovic put Saints ahead in the 26th minute after Viskovic did some hard bullying work through the middle passing through the wall of players and delivering a pass to Filipovic who slotted home a angled shot. For the next ten minutes or so the Saints had a complete control, five consecutive corner kicks with the Langwarrin Goalkeeper doing all sort of acrobatics in keeping the Saints at bay. On the odd occasion that the visitors went forward Saints defense kept them well under control, that is until the 36th minute when a clumsy challenge got Langwarrin a penalty from which they scored. Saints hit back five minutes later through Loncaric whose angle shot finds the net. Second half was nowhere near as exiting as first with Saints content to hold the result and hit back on the counter on every opportunity while Langwarrin never seriously threatened new Saints Keeper Stipan Mitrovic.
